Seed of Heroes Releasing September 17, 2024 on Steam and Epic Game Store

September 11th, 2024 (LOS ANGELES, CA) – Sekai Project is pleased to announce that the “bullet heaven” action game, Seed of Heroes will be releasing on Steam and Epic Game Store on September 17, 2024. The game will also be appearing at Tokyo Game Show alongside M.A.S.S. Builder at the Sekai Project booth in the Indie Game Area.

First announced back in July 2024, this title is being developed by the Bangkok, Thailand-based video game development studio, Vermillion Digital Col., Ltd.

Seed of Heroes is the 2^nd game to be released by Vermillion Digital after the 2019 Steam Early Access release of M.A.S.S. Builder. This game has been developed by the secondary development team within Vermillion Digital and thus its development does not have any impact on the current development schedule of M.A.S.S. Builder.

Seed of Heroes is a fast-paced, bullet heaven game where the player must gather a team of heroes to fight against hordes of enemies and uniquely designed bosses. Only the greatest of heroes will reach Valhalla. With frenetic gameplay and high levels of replayability, put your skills to the test in preparation for the coming of Ragnarok.

Notable Features:

• Create a party of heroes where each of them has unique attacks and leadership abilities. Choose one that either best matches your situation or just to your liking! Remember, only the leader can be hit!
• Grid-based. Bosses’ attacks, unique encounters, and special treasures function mostly on the grid stage and players will face specially crafted attack patterns where they can learn to dodge even in the chaos of a bullet heaven game.
• Adjustable formation. Players can adjust their party’s formation to best fit the situation they find themselves in, as well as aim all their members’ attack to a single point to help them get out of a mess.
• Streamer Mode. Stream the game on Twitch and put your fate in the hands of your viewers! Streamer Mode allows viewers to vote for treasures as well as send in groups of enemies with increased rewards as well.

A demo is also available on both Steam and the Epic Game Store platforms. After release of the PC version of Seed of Heroes, console development is planned as well.
