Nestled in the heart of Tokyo, the quaint little aquarium, Manten Aquarium.
Numerous urban legends have arisen from here.
On the night of the full moon the waters turn to blood and man faced fish lurk within.

Junior high school students Mayu and Himeno came to Manten Aquarium to investigate these urban legends.
In the beginning it was fun, but then.
They see a glimpse of Mayu’s missing littler sister, Mari.
The wheels of fate begin turning as they chase after Mari’s shadow.

–Before she realizes it, Mayu finds herself alone and lost in the crimson aquarium.



Manten East Building
Situated on the east side of Manten, it is a large commerce facility. This building stands in a fortunate spot, a few minutes on foot from the east exit of the station. It is a symbol of the area, visited by everyone from young people to senior citizens. There are also rumors that it was used for an execution site in the Edo Period…


Live Music Club – Kagerou –
A live music club found deep in the heart of the back alleys beyond the west exit of Manten Station. Many customers and performers from varied backgrounds visit, even visitors from the countryside are not rare. For those who love music, this is one place not to pass up,a live music club known for being open hearted and welcoming.


Manten Aquarium
An urban aquarium inconspicuously settled inside Manten East Building. It is situated on the top floor of the section protruding outward, utilizing a sturdy steel frame. There was once an esteemed Deep-sea Fish booth, but it was closed down approximately five years ago.


Tunnel Tank
Various types of stingrays, manta rays, whale sharks and the like swim about. The manta is properly called the manta ray and is among the world’s largest rays. Their leisurely swimming forms give people a sense of healing and the ocean’s magnificence. They are friendly and brimming with curiosity, their intelligence being on the high end for their type of fish.


The gently drifting jellyfish have an amazing adaptibility to their environment. They have existed for about a billion years on Earth. Regardless of water quality, the jellyfish will float about wherever they end up. The moon floating in the ocean holds both beauty and mystery.
