We’re happy to announce that Watamari Part2 – A Fake Marriage? will be participating in next week’s Steam Next Fest which runs from June 15 – 22, 2026.

The demo has it’s own Steam page so definitely bookmark this page so you’ll be ready for the launch.

In addition, on June 21, 4 AM PST / June 22, 9 PM JST, there will be a livestream on the Watamari Part2 page! This livestream will feature creator Takii Noame and special guest Yakumo Nene (Watamari Part2) who will talk about the development of Watamari Part2 as they do a live play of the demo.

PLEASE NOTE: The livestream will be conducted in Japanese. However, Takii Noame and Yakumo Nene will do their best to answer questions in English. 皆さん、頑張ってください！

Finally, it is worth mentioning that on June 21st, the two will be playing an updated version of the demo. Unfortunately, the developer was not able to get the demo finished in time for the start of Steam Next Fest so what will be made public on June 15th will just be a short taste of what’s to come.
